14k yellow gold Vintage "slide" bracelet with enamel and assorted gemstones. Ladies' Victorian pendant watches hung on chains that had decorative "slides" to adjust the length. In the 1930's women soon began to collect these slides when the chains they were on were no longer in fashion. The watch slides were fashioned into bracelets using two gold chains and a clasp, adding slides until the bracelet was filled and complete.
